The term wire race ball bearing refers to a rolling bearing whose raceway consists of hardened wires. The running surfaces are produced as a forged ball raceway ground or profile drawn. The various wire/ball combinations allow a large number of different of the most diverse installation forms. What all wire products have in common wire products that they offer economical solutions to conventional rolling bearings, even in problem areas. The production is carried out at KMF Kunst Stoff – Metall - Formteile to the highest standards of precision and quality.

KMF wire race ball bearing elements are used in wherever there is insufficient space for a complete bearing. 

Roller Bearing Cages

Ball cages of type series KKLK are cage bands of type series KK 100 and KK 107 with ball guide and retainer, which are supplied filled with rolling elements. The ball cage bands are supplied by the meter or cut to length ready for installation. The standard ball for filled cage bands of the type series KKLK is made of the material 100Cr6 according to DIN 5401 / Grade 28 (Kl.3). Variants made of other materials such as corrosion-resistant steel X46Cr13 / 1.4034 or plastic POM and ceramic AL2O3 are also possible.

Radial needle roller and cage assemblies of type series KKRK (KKBF) are single-row plastic cage bands with rolling elements for needle rollers. The cage bands are offered and supplied by the meter without needle rollers under KMF type KKRK 200 and with needle rollers under KMF type KKBF….

Radial roller cages of type series KKRR are single-row rolling element guided plastic cage belts for cylindrical rollers. The cage tapes are offered and supplied by the meter without cylindrical rollers under KMF type KKRR 207 and incl. rollers under KMF type KKRR....

Linear Bearing Cages

KMF linear bearing cages for ball, roller or needle roller are basically rolling element guided. The rolling elements are held in the pockets. They can be manufactured individually to any length. Material: In addition to precision, the main focus in the development of KMF linear bearing cages was to find the suitable material that fulfils, and even improves, important functional characteristics in linear motion sequences by means of various GF additives.
